As a Bowen therapist I have seen a number of 'minor miracles', but
there are also 'mega miracles' as I witnessed in Brazil in 2002
at the Case de Dom Inacio de Loyola... eyesight restored, cancers
gone, AIDS disappeared, back pain vanished instantly.
Joao de Dues (John
of God) is a trance medium, allowing a number of spirit entities
to take over his body during the period known as 'incorporation'
and to perform some very skilled surgery. He is known and loved
by many thousands throughout Brazil and neighbouring countries.
Some
of these operations are 'visible' ones on stage in front of an audience,
usually including doctors and other professionals, but the majority
are 'invisible'. That is where there is no sign of entry into the
body, yet subsequent medical tests have shown the presence of internal
stitching.
There is no 'religion'
pushed at you, but the atmosphere is one of acceptance and love,
laughter and some tears. Visitors to the Casa come away physical
symptoms gone, emotional pain eased, or maybe the gift of renewed
spiritual awareness it is different for everyone. Healing
is not immediate for everyone: many people stay for about two weeks,
some stay much longer, and others return several times.
WILL
YOU JOIN A GROUP?
Following
my personal experiences at the Casa I have been given permision
to take small groups to visit Joao, with the aim of assisting you
to find the healing that you may be seeking in your life: this may
be physical or emotional, or it may just to 'speed up your life
process'.
I
take groups from England to Brazil, tailored to suit individual
needs, usually for two (or three) weeks. Next dates ...... please
ask.
GETTING
THERE, AND STAYING
First
it is necessary for you to fly to Brasilia via San Paulo or Rio
de Janiero. I may be able to accompany you on the flight, and can
also make the necessary flight bookings for you. Visas are not required
for UK citizens.
I arrange your onward
taxi to Abadiania, and book you into a Pousada (a family-run guest
house). Rooms are mostly twin or double bedded, though there are
some singles. The accommodation is clean but fairly basic. Three
meals a day, mostly vegetarian with some chicken and fish, and plenty
of variety, are all included, but if you have any special dietary
needs you must arrange to bring your own supplies with you.
Wednesday, Thursday
and Friday each week are 'Casa days' when Joao operates. I will
accompany you her regularly until you are familiar with procedures,
and hope to be on hand at any time to answer queries that may come
up. The spoken language is Portuguese, but there are always translators
available.
Other
days of the week are 'free time', generally best spent in meditation,
prayer, and light activities (especially for the seven days following
an operation). Brazil can be very hot, and during any healing process
it is necessary to conserve your energy.
FURTHER INFORMATION
I estimate the total
cost at the present time (Summer 2003) to be about £1,200
for two weeks. The earlier you book, the less it should cost you
overall - that's how the airlines work!
You can find out
more by contacting me direct, or by visiting the Casa website: www.FriendsofTheCasa.org
Once you have decided
that this step is for you, I will require a deposit from you, and
will send you all further necessary information.
AUDIO-VISUAL PRESENTATION
I shall be delighted
to come to your home or other venue to give a presentation to yourself
and friends, as per the following 'flyer': 'Spirit Healing in Brazil'
